Dec 26, 2013 · It's in this directory on my system: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Driver San Francisco\Support\DirectX\dxsetup.exe. and there are some DX11 references in it, btw. Anyway, just run dxsetup.exe and let it do its thing. That's just another one of those things that might be keeping Driver from working on your system.
Jul 31, 2012 · Have you checked on the retail packaging whether Driver: San Francisco requires STEAM to run? Although the game can be picked up from STEAM it does not feature any of the exclusives, like -- Achievements, DLCpacks et al. So I think it is a primary an UPlay! title and can just be activated on STEAM for digital ownership not a pre-requisite for

Aug 23, 2019 · Is Driver: San Francisco worth your time in 2019 ? No. This game didn 't age well. It was obsolete at launch. Even the graphics was outdated on launch day. Endless loading screens and FMV makes this game a mess. Stay away. Clearly shows it's console origins. For god's sake, PC version of GTA IV from 01/2009 was way more advanced than DSF.
Jun 27, 2021 · This might be a quite a bit of a far guess, but it it might be a similar nonsense as what I experienced with Splinter Cell: Blacklist, where if you try playing that game with Uplay / Ubisoft Connect not working in offline mode, their library for online connections just looses access to lobby system and instead of having it handled properly
