Solution: Ignition off & remove key. Leave 10 mins to power down. Disconnect battery & leave for 30 mins. Re connect battery & leave for 10 mins. Switch on ignition & leave for 10 mins. Start engine & set clock/ calander etc. I hope this will be successful for you. Regards.

I was told on purchase about the radio not working, which was no issue as I planned to get it replaced to a unit which be compatible with USB and Bluetooth.
After I saw video guide removing radio I managed to remove it without keys with just 4 small screwdrivers, and this is how it's done.
In the 406 the (Type C / sat nav) display also fades when hot, but if you run the display test from the laptop then it displays perfectly. I know that some people have installed extra fans and routed air from the vents, but I don't know whether these have been successful. The other common issue is vertical lines of pixels becoming dead.
HI guys, I have a 307cc on a 54 plate. I seem to get a niggle once a month on it these days. the latest is that the air con will ocme on for about 1 minute then cut off and on continuously. obviously getting a bit hot now so need it on all the time. any ideas why it is cutting on and off. any help areciated. thanks.
